Allen Klein's MOM'S THE WORD Gives Credit Where Credit Is Due: to Moms

I had the opportunity to interview author Allen Klein on Conversations LIVE recently about the book MOM'S THE WORD and it was as much a delight as the book itself. This is not just a celebration of what mothers have done. It goes into who they are and what thy have contributed when it comes to our lives.
Taking stories from individuals who are respected and easy to recognize Klein has given us a way of seeing that moms and their influence will forever be with us---whether they are still here or not. Some of the quotes are reflective while others are fun and quirky. It really shows that mothers have to be all things to all people, but they will always be that source of entertainment, education and reinforcement.
Another great quote from the book comes from C. Joybell C. on page 140: "The best love in the world, is the love of a man. The love of a man who came from your womb, the love of your son!
Those who still have their mothers around will want to hug them a little tighter while those who have lost their mother will definitely smile when you think of all they have done. Either way this book helps us to give credit where credit is due when it comes to who we are and who opened up the door for us to be the best of ourselves.

Celebrate all the Moms in Your Life

In honor of Mothers everywhere this weekend, I wanted to share a delightful little book with you. Even though it doesn't come out for a few weeks yet, you can always preorder it and have it shipped right to your mom and surprise her.
This book will make moms and kids feel appreciated and loved. It will make you laugh and make you cry. There are stories that will warm your heart and quotes that you will want to remember forever. There is even a section devoted to mothers-to-be. What a perfect way to celebrate a new mom in your life, but sharing this book with her. Even Grandmas would love thinking back on their motherhood days.
With a whole section devoted to Mother's Day, one that I found particularly familiar was:

A touching book of many emotions.

I do have to say, as a Mom myself, this book was very well written and I went through emotions from happy to heartwarming and crying sometimes because of the joy some of the book brought, thinking of my own Mother. It even was funny at times and the tears I did shed were mainly of joy and happiness. This book has hit Motherhood right on the head and captures it greatly. It is just one of those books that makes you think of your own Mother and want you put them through, mainly as a child and teenager, as well as what they have sacrificed for you to make sure you had what you needed and they tried to never have you go without things, even if they were not a need, but a want.
I would recommend this book to everyone, because everyone has a Mother or even someone that was a Mother figure for them. I have a Mother, but my Grandmother was also like a Mother to me as well, so I was blessed that I had two great women in my life to guide me, or at least try, down the right path in life. I owe them everything and more.
