Very well done, excellent musical blend as well
By Janet
Christopher Glyn's talented voice and knowledge of the text makes for a rich listening experience. The Complete King James Version Audio Bible is a step above other versions I've heard, it really drew me in, captivating me with a good balance of reverence for the Holy Word and emotional vibrance inherent in such a great literary work. The musical framework added a further dimension, which greatly enhanced the devotional aspect of the reading for me. All in all, I'd recommend it enthusiastically to anyone looking for a fuller inspirational experience.

Terrible for kindle.
By Leroy
I downloaded this because I had an audible credit through Amazon for my Kindle. This is a terrible product for kindle. There is no table of contents. There is no way for you to systematically go through the audio because nothing is labled. You don't know which book your listening to unless you already know the scripture that's playing. I would never by this product for my Kindle. I'm glad I only used a credit.

Sarah Tigarden drove down the deserted highway in the small ranching town of Saddlers Prairie, Montana, asking herself the question that would remain forever unanswered. Why hadn't her parents told her she was adopted?

Anger that had been with her since she'd discovered the truth welled, and the sunlit prairies on either side of the road seemed to dim.

Sarah didn't fault her father, who'd died when she was ten. But her mother, whom she now referred to as Ellen, could and should have told her. Now that she was gone, buried six months ago, it was too late.

They'd been close, growing closer still during the year before Ellen had succumbed to the ovarian cancer that ravaged her. Sarah had put her own life on hold, giving up her apartment and moving back home to care for Ellen. They'd talked about Sarah's recent breakup, finances, Ellen's burial—everything except the fact that Sarah was adopted.

She was still reeling from the shock that had awaited her when she'd emptied her mother's safe-deposit box. Surely Ellen had realized Sarah would find the birth certificate. She had to know how upset, how hurt Sarah would be. Not because of the adoption—because of the lies.

Why hadn't Ellen told the truth?

Sick of asking herself the question she might never find the answer to, Sarah cranked up the music and sang along with Adele. The words drowned out other thoughts, just as she wanted.

A sudden gust of wind sent dirt and debris flying, as if Mother Nature were upset on Sarah's behalf. Wind that pushed the car across the centerline. Gripping the wheel, Sarah steered her car to the right side of the road and fought to hold it there.

Ominous clouds suddenly obliterated the flawless blue sky that had been with her since she'd left Boise a day and a half earlier. Sarah tossed her sunglasses onto the passenger seat. Without the warmth of the mid-May sun, the temperature seemed to drop ten degrees, and she closed the sunroof and turned on the heat.

Maybe she should check in to her room first and change into warmer clothes. The widow who owned the house where she'd rented a room for the next two weeks was expecting her about now.

But that would involve a U-turn and a five-mile drive in the opposite direction, and Sarah was too anxious for answers. She wanted to know why Tammy Becker, her biological mother, had given her up, and where she was now. The private investigator Sarah had hired had tracked her mother to a house in Saddlers Prairie, where the Becker family had lived some twenty-nine years ago. It was there that the trail had abruptly ended—right around the time of Sarah's birth.

According to the P.I., a Mr. Tyler Phillips had bought the house from the Beckers all those years ago and still owned it. Unfortunately, his phone number was unlisted, and he hadn't answered either of the two letters Sarah had sent. If she showed up at his door, he'd be forced to at least talk to her. Maybe he'd share some valuable insights about Tammy Becker and her parents and provide information on where Tammy lived now. He might even let Sarah into the house. She wanted to walk through it, see Tammy's bedroom and gaze out the same windows her biological mother had once looked through.

She was curious. What kind of person was Tammy Becker, and had she ever thought about the daughter she'd given up? Sarah hoped to one day meet the woman and maybe even develop a relationship.

Even if Mr. Phillips refused to talk to her, she was determined to get some answers while she was in town. Following the directions on her iPhone GPS, she turned her travel-weary sedan onto a small paved street aptly named Dusty Horse Road.

Wouldn't you know, rain began to pummel the car and the dirt-packed ground, sending splashes of wet dust flying.

Great, just great.

The last time Sarah had visited Montana, to research an article on fly-fishing during a hot week in July a few years ago, she'd heard about the fickle spring climate. Now she was experiencing the abrupt shifts firsthand.

Her windshield wipers fought to keep pace with the downpour. Sarah slowed to a crawl, squinting through the weather at the numbers on the mailboxes.

They were few and far between, sentries at the feet of the driveways of modest homes. After a few minutes, the rain eased to a lighter, slower rhythm. She was beginning to wonder if she'd ever find the address she was looking for, when the GPS indicated the house she wanted was a few hundred feet away.

There it was—a bungalow situated back from the road, its pale green siding in need of fresh paint. Scrag-gly weeds filled the garden bed under the front window, but the large front and side yards were mowed, and buds filled the overgrown bushes along one side.

A black pickup was parked under a tall cotton-wood at the edge of the gravel driveway. Someone was home—with any luck, Mr. Phillips himself.

This was it, the chance she'd hoped for. Slightly breathless, she pulled into the driveway and braked to a stop near the truck.

Shielding her hair with her shoulder bag, she dashed onto the porch, which was nothing but a concrete slab. Thanks to the overhang above the door, she was sheltered from the rain. Before ringing the doorbell, she smoothed her cap-sleeve blouse over her jeans and fluffed her hair, which had gotten wet despite the purse. Then she pressed the bell with a hand that trembled, thanks to a combination of nerves and a little fear. Though she couldn't have said what scared her.

Through the door she heard the faint, chiming ding-dong. Above her, clouds raced by, and another gust of wind whipped wet strands of hair across her face. So much for trying to look decent.

Sarah dug into her purse and quickly found her comb, but she needn't have hurried—Mr. Phillips, or whoever was inside, did not answer the door.

Maybe he needed extra time to reach it—the P.I. said he was in his mid-sixties—or maybe he hadn't heard the bell.

Determined, she rang again, letting her finger linger on the buzzer. After a short wait, she knocked. Nothing.

Frustrated and disappointed, but too curious to leave without at least sneaking a peek inside, she left the porch. Keeping under the shelter of the eaves, she stepped into the neglected garden along the front of the house.

Knee-high weeds raked the calves of her jeans, and mud sucked at her expensive leather slip-ons. Wishing she'd worn sneakers, she leaned forward and peered through the large front window into what appeared to be the living room. A sofa backed up against the window, and two armchairs and a coffee table faced an old TV. The off-white walls were completely bare. Mr. Phillips wasn't much for decorating.

Suddenly the deadbolt clicked. Sarah froze, but not for long. She turned and made a mad dash for the porch, stumbling over a dip in the ground in her haste. She'd barely regained her balance before the door swung open.

Caught in the garden like a thief. Great way to make a first impression, Sarah.

Her face burned, and she knew she was beet-red. With all the grace she could muster, she brushed off her hands and moved causally toward the door.

It wasn't until she planted her feet on the concrete slab that she mustered the courage to actually look at the large male standing in the doorway.

When she saw who it was, she almost stumbled again from the sheer shock. What was Clay Hollyer doing here?

The corner of his sexy mouth lifted in the devastating quirk women everywhere swooned over. Not Sarah—not anymore. She'd never thought she'd see him again and hadn't ever wanted to.

Yet there he was, as imposing and magnetic as ever.

He pushed his longish brown hair off his forehead, momentarily exposing the faint scar along his right temple, the result of an angry bull's attempt to rid himself of his tenacious rider sometime during Clay's brilliant career as America's champion bull rider.

As talented and good-looking as he was, Clay Hol-lyer was also cocky and full of himself. He was one of the biggest players Sarah had ever met, let alone profiled for a magazine article. The buckle bunnies who buzzed around him, vying for his attention like bees around a honeycomb, only increased his inflated opinion of himself.

That Sarah had been one of them—not a buckle bunny, but just as smitten—made seeing him now all the worse.

It had been nearly three years. Plenty had happened since then, and she doubted he even remembered her. Hoped and prayed he didn't. But the striking jade eyes known to every rodeo fan in the world narrowed, and his lips compressed into a thin, flat line, and she knew that he did.

She wanted to sink into the ground. Or better yet, make a beeline for the car. But she was no coward. She forced a smile. "Hello, Clay. You probably don't remember me. I'm Sa—"

"Sarah Tigarden. How could I ever forget you?" His expression hardened, belying his light tone. "What the hell are you doing here?"

Of all the women Clay had known, one of his least favorite was standing on his doorstep. If that wasn't bad enough, she'd trampled through the dead flower bed to snoop through the window. He was so not amused.

Despite his nasty-ass scowl, she barely flinched. She lost the phony smile though, and clutched the strap of her purse in a stranglehold. "I'm looking for Mr. Tyler Phillips."

"You want to talk my landlord." Clay snorted. "He doesn't live here, and FYI, he doesn't know anything about me."

"But this is his house."

"And he rented it to me. I don't do interviews anymore."

Even if he did, he wouldn't talk to her. A few years back, her big oh-so-guileless blue eyes and great legs had all but reeled him in. That and the habit she had of pushing her then long black hair behind her ears and catching her provocative lower lip between her teeth.

He'd soaked up her interest in him, had liked her enough that he'd even considered dating her. She didn't have the voluptuous curves he preferred, but those legs and her sweet little behind compensated for the small breasts.

Early one memorable morning, after ten days of letting her shadow him and answering her endless questions, he'd kissed her, in the stable with the horses, leaning against a clover-scented bale of hay. A sizzling kiss he'd thought about for months—and sometimes still did.

At the time, she'd seemed just as awed by the wallop that kiss had packed. Yet for some reason she'd cooled off, fast.

For the rest of the day and the night, she'd avoided being alone with him. The following morning, a full day before she was supposed to leave, she'd taken off without even thanking him for his time. She'd ignored his calls, emails and texts. Then she'd slammed him in print, calling him shallow, a player with a big ego that needed constant feeding. As if he were responsible for the women who threw themselves at him.

His buddies had laughed and said they wouldn't mind a similar article written about them, but that article had caused him no small amount of pain and trouble.

"I'm not here to do an interview, Clay."

Yeah, right. She was probably here to write a scathing piece about the life of a has-been. No, thanks.

Those big eyes widened, once more tempting him to fall under her spell and stay awhile. Not about to get suckered in again, he tore his gaze away. "How'd you find me?"

Not that his living here was a secret. He'd put out the press release himself, mostly to announce his new business venture. Since the accident and his forced retirement, interest from reporters had been all but nonexistent. Which suited him fine.

"Believe me, you're the last person I expected to run into," Sarah said. "I have no interest in you at all. None."

Why that bothered him was anyone's guess. She wasn't the first to feel that way. The angry bull that had crushed his knee had ruined more than his career. The buckle bunnies he'd once taken for granted had quickly turned their attention to other bull riders. Never mind that he'd driven them away. He didn't need their pity.

"Then why are you here?" he asked, not hiding his displeasure.

"I was hoping I could see the house."

Right, and he was a ballet dancer. "You're telling me Phillips wants to sell this place? Too bad—a couple of months ago, I signed a nine-month lease. I'm not leaving until the contractor finishes my house, and he just broke ground."

His bad leg was beginning to ache. He leaned against the doorjamb and crossed his arms.

"You're building a place in Saddlers Prairie." She frowned. "I thought you lived in Billings."

"I relocated."

"You're not riding anymore?"

She hadn't followed the stories, then. Just went to show how far he'd slipped from the radar. "Nope," he said. "I retired a year and a half ago."

The ache in his leg advanced to low-level pain, a sure sign that hell was on its way. He shouldn't have pushed himself so hard this morning.

"Thanks for stopping by." He backed inside and started to close the door.

"Wait—please!"

Her voice had a desperate ring to it he couldn't ignore. He hesitated.

"If I could just peek at the house," she said. "I won't stay long, I promise."

Vulnerability he hadn't noticed the last time they'd met made her look softer and even more attractive. Leaning heavily against the jamb, he eyed her. "Give me one good reason why I should believe you."

"How about the truth? I'm researching my family roots, and I found out that my mother and her parents once lived in this house."

He barely hid his surprise. "Can't you just ask them what you want to know?"

"I would, but both my parents are gone now—my adoptive parents, that is—and there are no other relatives to ask. This was my biological mother's house." Shadows filled her eyes. "Until recently, I didn't even know about her."

Interesting. "Closed adoption, huh?" he guessed.

"Something like that." She ducked her head, as if wanting to hide from him.

Curious, he cautiously flexed his bad leg. "When did she live here?"

"Twenty-nine years ago—when she was pregnant with me."

"And you're looking to learn something about her in this house, after all that time." Clay didn't buy it.

"I know it's a long shot, but it's all I have. Tyler Phillips bought this place from Bob and Judy Becker—my biological grandparents. The private investigator I hired said that Mr. Phillips still lived here. His phone number is unlisted, so I wrote to him for information, but he never replied. I thought that if I came in person, if he talked to me and showed me around, I might. .never mind. Thanks for your time."

She turned away, but not before Clay saw her crestfallen expression.

Hell. He wasn't doing anything right now, anyway, so what could it hurt to let her in? "I'll give you ten minutes. Then you have to leave."

She brightened right up. "Thank you."

3.5 Star Review
By Harlequin Junkie Blog
In The Rancher She Loved by Ann Roth, Sarah Tigarden has just discovered that she is adopted, something that would not have been so bad if her parents would have told her instead of her finding out by finding her birth certificate in her mother's safe deposit box after her mother's death. Now she has more questions than ever and no one to answer them for both her parent are dead. Her only option is to track down her birth mother.

TRSLClay Hollyer has not forgiven Sarah for the article she wrote about him three years before. He didn't so much mind the attention from women that came knocking down his door. What he minded is that she disappeared on him, didn't return his calls, his email or anything. Her article brought a gold digger that claimed he got her pregnant right before the rodeo, the news disturbed him so much that he got his knee crushed by the bull after being thrown.

Now Sarah is where the trail of her birth mother ends, trying to find something for herself. She knows that her mother's parents sold their house but maybe someone can point her in the right direction. Little does she know that Clay is renting the house that used to be her birth mother's, and if she wants him to allow her to look for clues of her birth, first she must convince him to let her through the door.

As Clay and Sarah spend more time trying to solve the mystery of her birth, he becomes more invested in her life and wants to know things as they develop, even if he still cannot trust her. But the chemistry that started that first kiss three years ago is still there and makes it more and more difficult to keep a distance between them personally. And now Clay thinks that maybe he should try and have an affair with her as long as it last in order to get rid of his obsession with her. Especially now that he realizes that no other woman can turn him on as much as her, and just thinking about her gets him turned on while no matter what any other woman does they cannot get the same result.

There are things that have made Sarah and Clay the way they are and when things get tough and a sort of déjà vu happens, it will show whether what they have is for the long haul or if it's just the fling that they both thought it was to begin with.

If you want a deeply emotional and really hot read, The Rancher She Loved by Ann Roth is a great choice.

"I am hard pressed to think of another book that can match the combination of practical insights and reading enjoyment."-Steven Levitt Game theory means rigorous strategic thinking. It's the art of anticipating your opponent's next moves, knowing full well that your rival is trying to do the same thing to you. Though parts of game theory involve simple common sense, much is counterintuitive, and it can only be mastered by developing a new way of seeing the world. Using a diverse array of rich case studies-from pop culture, TV, movies, sports, politics, and history-the authors show how nearly every business and personal interaction has a game-theory component to it. Mastering game theory will make you more successful in business and life, and this lively book is the key to that mastery. Show more Show less

UnSouled (Unwind Dystology Book 3), by Neal Shusterman

The story that began with Unwind continues.

Connor and Lev are on the run after the destruction of the Graveyard, the last safe haven for AWOL Unwinds. But for the first time, they’re not just running away from something. This time, they’re running toward answers, in the form of a woman Proactive Citizenry has tried to erase from history itself. If they can find her, and learn why the shadowy figures behind unwinding are so afraid of her, they may discover the key to bringing down unwinding forever.

Cam, the rewound boy, is plotting to take down the organization that created him. Because he knows that if he can bring Proactive Citizenry to its knees, it will show Risa how he truly feels about her. And without Risa, Cam is having trouble remembering what it feels like to be human.

With the Juvenile Authority and vindictive parts pirates hunting them, the paths of Connor, Lev, Cam, and Risa will converge explosively—and everyone will be changed.

Neal Shusterman continues the adventure that VOYA called “poignant, compelling, and ultimately terrifying.”

From School Library Journal
Gr 9 Up-This third installment continues where UnWholly (S & S, 2012) left off. Lev and Connor are on the road again. Their destination is back to Ohio where Sonia, an antiques dealer with an important past, will help them end Unwinding once and for all. After a bizarre car accident involving an ostrich, however, they wind up on a Native American reservation. Here, readers learn a lot more about Lev's past, and Connor meets up with Cam, the one and only Rewind. This volume keeps readers updated on many of the characters from the previous books. Following the different story arcs can be a bit confusing, but they are intriguing enough to propel readers forward. Ultimately, the threads begin to tie together, though a lot is left open for the next book. This novel is not as fast paced as its predecessors, but still it packs a punch and is an excellent addition to the series. Fans will not be disappointed.-Kristyn Dorfman, The Packer Collegiate Institute, Brooklyn, NYα(c) Copyright 2013. Library Journal. LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc. From Booklist
In the third of his projected four-volume Unwind “dystology” Shusterman brings most of his central cast of teenage fugitives together and introduces an important new character, who is exempt from being unwound (legally disassembled for body parts) because she has a mild spectrum disorder. Frequent references to events in previous episodes slow the pace somewhat but the present-tense tale remains suspenseful, the overall premise is as hauntingly plausible as ever, and an electrifying revelation at the end points the way to a possible resolution. The third book of Shusterman’s best-selling series finds legendary “Akron AWOL” Connor and former tithe Lev making their way across the country to Ohio to find a woman who may be able to help them stop the Unwinding forever.

Their journey is first derailed by a car crash, and then Connor gets hijacked along the way by a local yokel in Heartsdale, Kan., who holds him hostage. He escapes, but a second car crash dozens of pages later lands Lev in the infirmary of a Native American reservation. Meanwhile, clappers—human bombs—destroy gyms; Cam, the Rewind, charms a senator’s daughter; Risa escapes a band of hungry coyotes; and several other characters from the previous two novels enter and exit the stage. At first, it’s hard to tell where Shusterman is leading readers. He spends so much time with side stories that the novel has trouble finding the momentum of the first two. Readers won’t really understand the lead plot arc until they’re at least halfway through; this installment reads like multiple subplots cobbled together. They do eventually connect, and readers will enjoy the temporary distraction of each one, but they’ll still be wanting Shusterman to get the heck on with the story.

A meandering, stop-and-start continuation of the Unwind Dystology. (Science fiction. 13 & up) (Kirkus Reviews)

4.5 Stars - Amazing Continuation of the Unwind Dystology
By Robin Snyder
Neal Shusterman is a genius story teller. He builds his stories layer by layer, revealing the plot through multiple POVs. While the majority of POVs are from Connor, Lev, Risa and Cam the others all add so much to the depth and thought put into all aspects of the book. It is like a chess board and he is moving all the pieces of the puzzle around letting you see most of the plays before the final conclusion of the game. Some pieces will be sacrificed, some will only be distractions, some support and others will sneak in change the game completely. But inevitably the game will end with a victor, who that victor will be and how s still anyone's guess.

I'm wowed by this story. The initial horror that I felt in Unwind by the atrocities committed in that book haven't left me and even when I think I can't be more horrified by anything else in this series I'm proven wrong again. From who is really controlling the clappers to what Proactive Citizenry is willing to do or has done to keep all the body parts coming.

Neal Shusterman lets us walk through unwinding's past as the scientist Jansen Rheinschild horrified by what he has invented and how it is to be used tries to correct his mistakes. At the beginning of each Part there is a snippet of Jansen's past leading to a better understanding of the present. Neal is also great at showing what is going on in the present story with some of the propaganda and commercial ads that are being ran. This is a brilliant mechanism in the story as it lets the reader see what society is really like.

Connor and Lev - Are on the run together trying to get to Sonia who might have a key to why Proactive Citizenry would have erased her husband from history. They hope it is a key on how to stop unwinding all together. But along the way they run into a few obstacles and end up meeting Grace as well as a few friends from Lev's past.

- "No true hero ever believes that they are one," she tells him. "So you go ahead, Lev, and keep denying it with every fiber of you being."

It's clear the Lev still has a major part to play in the downfall of the system. He just isn't sure what it is yet.

Cam - is struggling with who and what he is, does he even have a soul is he more than just a collection of all of his parts. Cam is determined to make the people who rewound him pay. He still believes that will make Risa love him and that is the only thing he wants.

- Cam knows beyond a shadow of a doubt he could fill that void in her, if only she loved him enough to let him. It would be the one thing that would make him feel whole.

Cam is putting all his trust into loving Risa. But he still doesn't know that Connor is alive and maybe there isn't any room in Risa's heart to love him that way. He is definitely a wild card because what will he do if he doesn't get the girl he wants.

Risa - knows the ADR is in shambles but she wants to help revive it. Although she misses Connor, I like that she is never so consumed by it that she drops all of her goals to help the Unwinds to just look for him. Risa stays on her own path and while she hopes to see him again she sticks to the bigger picture of trying to find a way to fight against the system. She even runs into an old friend of Lev's along the way CyFy. I was so happy to see that kid again. He still has a very interesting story and it is interesting to see how some people with unwound parts choose to live.

- "You want to know the real reason unwinding keeps going strong, Miss Risa Ward? It's because of the things we're willing to do to save our children." She thinks about it and laughs ruefully. "Imagine that. We're willing to sacrifice the children we don't love for the ones we do..."

Starkey - Is evil and awful and a complete freaking psychopath. But he is a charismatic psychopath who is leading a band of stork kids escaped from the Graveyard. Every time I think Starkey can't do anything more horrendous well he does and I become even more disgusted with him. He is the ultimate bad guy, looking only for glory and immortality willing to sacrifice anyone and everyone else to get it. I love hating him.

There are some other characters that really add to the story. Grace is a new addition to the AWOLs as she is traveling with Conner. I really liked the way she is simple minded yet an idiot savant at strategy and is a great addition to the team. We get to see Hayden again I was worried about what happened to him after he was captured in Unwholly.

There was a lot of development of the individual characters in this book. Cam and Starkey especially I see as more three dimensional now. Conner, Risa and Lev have changed so much from when they first escaped together. My one and only complaint is I really wanted Conner and Risa to find each other sooner, but I can't even be mad about that because it was perfect how it happened.

The big reveal at the end was a little shocking but not unexpected and I really believe that this book was the best jumping board it could be going into the final book of the series. It was emotionally gripping and I stayed locked into the story the entire time waiting to see what would come next. Neal Shusterman has his work cut out for him to make the final book as strong as the rest of the series but he has a great lead in with this book and I can't help but feel that everything in the last book will be absolutely epic.

A game changer for the series!
By Nicole Hewitt
This is one of my absolute favorite series!! If you haven't read Unwind and UnWholly, you should. It is one of the most unique, thought-provoking dystopians out there.

UnSouled picks up where UnWholly left off - Lev has just rescued Connor from the Graveyard and Risa has just escaped from Proactive Citizenry (after appearing on national TV and declaring that she is against unwinding and rewinding). Cam is desperate to find Risa and to somehow win her love - he figures that bringing Proactive Citizenry is the best way to do that.

The negatives:

A bit of middle book syndrome.
While I loved this book, it did seem a bit like it was mainly just setting us up for book #4. Somehow Shusterman still made the journey feel fresh and interesting, but, in terms of important plot, not that much happened in this book. It was really all about the journey - bringing our characters back together.

What I LOVED:

The moral questions.
I can't possibly talk about the Unwind dystology without mentioning all of the moral questions that are raised. This book further explored the issues that were raised in the first two books (the value of human life, what makes a person a person?) and added one new one: Does a criminal's life hold value or is it okay to end it? (Capital punishment). In this book, it has been proposed that criminals can "volunteer" to be unwound - it's a win/win situation, right? The criminal has supposedly chosen to end their own life and the world benefits by being able to use their unwound parts. But, who monitors it? How is there any guarantee that this will actually be voluntary? And, more importantly, is the value of a criminal's life any less important than anyone else's? These are the types of quandaries that Shusterman is so incredibly good at examining. He'll make you examine tham too, and that is why I LOVE this series!!

Grace.
Grace is a brand new character - and she was so incredibly unique and interesting. I adored her. What makes Grace so unique is the fact that she is both cognitively limited and brilliant at the same time (a bit of a savant, if you will). When Connor first meets Grace, he doesn't expect much from her (and neither do the other characters in the book), but it doesn't take long for Connor to realize that Grace is actually something very special. Her unique intelligence actually saves the day more than once. I actually think that Grace was one of my favorite characters in this book!

Game changer.
The ending of this book is a game-changer. It could possibly turn the characters' world on its head! I definitely can't wait to read the last book in this series - Undivided.

If you enjoy dystopians, you should definitely be reading this series!! UnSouled was an excellent addition to the series and I can't wait to find out what happens next! 4/5 stars.

best series.
By Sarah D.
**THIS BOOK IS NOT THE FINAL BOOK** theres a 4th one called UnDivided that comes out October 2014. There seems to be a lof of confusion about the 'ending' of this one, but it's not the end to the series. anyway REVIEW:

NEAL SHUSTERMAN WEAVES A TALE AS INTERESTING AND COMPLEX AS CAMUS COMPRIXS 'INTERNAL COMMUNITY'.

This story, since the very first book, keeps you involved and your mind going, it's absolutely incredible. The parallels to our own reality are disturbing especially when he's starting each part of the book off with real research and real articles with actual links you can view online. It makes it all a little too close to home and gives you a sense of unease that will stay with you whenever you think too long about how our world and society are run, and who the people in charge are. It challenges your beliefs and forces you to reevaluate your compassion and morals. its just fantastic.

The characters are compelling and you grow attached to every single one, even the 'bad guys' and the ones you don't particularly like. You find yourself reading faster and turning pages at an alarming rate simply in the hopes of getting to a different view point and once you're there you're only led to need a different one. GYUH

It's a beautiful web, expertly executed. A perfect blend of present and future, theres just enough of a futuristic aspect to make it sooo scarily believable and I am absolutely gutted that I have to wait until october to see how it all plays out in the end. The heroes tasks are big ones, they have a lot of people against them (practically the whole of society) and a lot of them are very important people. With how realistic and plot twisting the series has been so far it's a total mystery as to how it will end. And thats kinda scary.

The Complete Fairy Tales and Stories [168 Tales in the chronological order of publication], by Hans Christian Andersen

This book contains the complete Andersen’s fairy tales and stories in the chronological order of their original publication.

Hans Christian Andersen was a Danish author and poet. Although a prolific writer of plays, travelogues, novels, and poems, Andersen is best remembered for his fairy tales, a literary genre he so mastered that he himself has become as mythical as the tales he wrote. Andersen's popularity is not limited to children; his stories—called eventyrs, or "fantastic tales"—express themes that transcend age and nationality.

During his lifetime he was acclaimed for having delighted children worldwide and was feted by royalty. Andersen's fairy tales, which have been translated into more than 125 languages, have become culturally embedded in the West's collective consciousness, readily accessible to children, but presenting lessons of virtue and resilience in the face of adversity for mature readers as well. They have inspired motion pictures, plays, ballets, and animated films.

Wonderful tales - quite good translation
By Birgit
Being Danish I prefer to read the tales in Danish, but as I have English friends I also want to be able to recommend a good translation. This is one of the two best on the market at present, to my mind.

Introduction to the basis for modern fairy tales
By tchootchie
I have been happily surprised while reading these tales. I enjoy reading the ones I can link to with the modern, re-done version such as The Little Mermaid, The Emperors New Clothes, etc. The length of these tales is really good as you can do a little quick reading and complete a story so you don't lose the thread track. Perfect for reading while waiting at an appointment. These are definitely adult versions as the language would be difficult for kids to follow and there are no pictures. As an avid reader I am currently reading the classics and this one just caught my eye while shopping. Glad I stopped to take a deeper look as I was happily surprised.

Still Reading stories from childhood
By Madonna M. Hood
Who would have thought that as an adult, I would start reading Grimm's Fairy Tales and Hans Christian Andersen. Better late than never and I am sure that as a child I would have never understood them the way I do as an adult. These stories are an enjoyable read so even if you are over 18 --- or maybe because you are over 18 --- read them for the first time or re-read them for the 100th time.

This book was originally published prior to 1923, and represents a reproduction of an important historical work, maintaining the same format as the original work. While some publishers have opted to apply OCR (optical character recognition) technology to the process, we believe this leads to sub-optimal results (frequent typographical errors, strange characters and confusing formatting) and does not adequately preserve the historical character of the original artifact. We believe this work is culturally important in its original archival form. While we strive to adequately clean and digitally enhance the original work, there are occasionally instances where imperfections such as blurred or missing pages, poor pictures or errant marks may have been introduced due to either the quality of the original work or the scanning process itself. Despite these occasional imperfections, we have brought it back into print as part of our ongoing global book preservation commitment, providing customers with access to the best possible historical reprints. We appreciate your understanding of these occasional imperfections, and sincerely hope you enjoy seeing the book in a format as close as possible to that intended by the original publisher.

Animal Farm [Dramatised], by George Orwell

"All animals are equal. But some animals are more equal than others."

Animal Farm - the history of a revolution that went wrong - is George Orwell's brilliant satire on the corrupting influence of power. Mr Jones of Manor Farm is so lazy and drunken that one day he forgets to feed his livestock. The ensuing rebellion under the leadership of the pigs Napoleon and Snowball leads to the animals taking over the farm. Vowing to eliminate the terrible inequities of the farmyard, the renamed Animal Farm is organised to benefit all who walk on four legs. But as time passes, the ideals of the rebellion are corrupted, then forgotten. And something new and unexpected emerges....

Tamsin Greig, Nicky Henson, and Toby Jones star in this new drama, part of BBC Radio 4's The Real George Orwell season - a Radio 4 journey that explores the disjuncture between the man who was Eric Blair and the writer who was George Orwell.
