Elliott James is the author of the Pax Arcana urban fantasy series. An avid reader since the age of three, he has an abiding interest in mythology, martial arts, live music, hiking, and used bookstores. He currently lives in the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia.
Roger Wayne hails from small-town Minnesota. He served in the Air Force as a broadcast journalist in South Korea before obtaining his BA in communications and journalism. Very charming, but with teeth

This was a great introduction into the world of the Pax Arcana. It starts out small and local, but you can see the edges of a really big playground for this story to go. I love all the characters and even though they inevitably fill some of the usual archetypes, their back stories are fun enough to enjoy them anyway. The idea of John Charming in the modern world is a really great vehicle to step into this alternate world of vampires and werewolves. I will definitely be following this series.
